Sakhi Social Enterprise Network

Sakhi Social Enterprise Network (SSEN)develops marginalized women and youth into business people and entrepreneurs and advances local economies through two programs:School for Rural Entrepreneurship (E-School) that has trained 1200 womenin 2011-12 in partnership with corporates like ANZ & Godrej with future plans to scale up.


The Vocational Training Celltargets high school youth from rural backgrounds, provides short courses vocational training, counseling & job placement.


Opportunity for Partners: Support training of women entrepreneurs; Mini/micro projects to be implemented by rural women based on technology/business process provided by the corporate, foster active employee engagement for rural youth skills & employment; Customized training of rural youth for jobs.
